Hi Martin, Marcus, Chris,
I am really impressed how many answered to my question. Thanks to everyone of you - each one threw some light onto the topic.
Martin, I am looking forward to any solution you'll come up with.

You really understood the "problem" - I know it is minor, but the solution will bring the Psion closer to perfection ...

Subject: Keyboard mapping on converted Malay netBook
I swapped my Malay netBook module for a regular one. key has moved to a different (and probably better) location, but of course the physical keys don't match now. Is there any utility or setting that I have missed that allows one to remap the keyboard?

Subject: Opera 5.14
Hi,
Can someone tell me the alteration and where it goes in the Opera.ini to make Opera put the cache into 'D'.
Also has anyone had success with opera 5.14 and Abbey National Internet banking (I think I asked this before but not sure if it got through).

Yes, Phil, I have had that, and more than once if I recall. I removed the app in full, then reinstalled again, and things sorted themselves out... (BTW I've also found upon occasion that, if Route is open, Street may crash, and vice versa: am I unique in this, I wonder?)

Astrid, I find an app called Defrag5 indispensible for retrieving memory: after a browsing session sometimes it can reclaim over half a megabyte! And it's freeware: author Graham Crichton, cannot see URL, but Google should do it....

Trygve, thank you indeed for pointing out n-dream: things were getting so bad for me that I was thinking of changing address but, since I read your mail little over a week ago, I have a relatively normal inbox again:-) I cannot imagine, though, that such a service will remain free
forever?

The above combination works at my home computer without any problems. I don't even have to open Internet Explorer as I am continuously connected. I just activate MochaPPP and send my emails from the Psion (and check my mail as well).

Phil,
First try this, go to the folder set as your standard folder (default is Documents) look for the Route Icon there and delete it. This should fix the problem and the Icon will be recreated on the next run of the application - this is the preferences you set and will need to be re done for things like car speeds etc.
If this does not work, then try uninstalling the Route application, delete the above mentioned file, carry out a warm reset of your Psion and then reinstall the App. Hopefully the first option will work and you won't have to go through all the rest.

Subject: Re: How to execute 'Extras'
Hi Martin,
downloaded the Macro, installed, and it worked like a charme. BIG THANKS for the prog. I am glad you and others have good use for it.
You could mention in the ReadMe that Extras5/7 can be used to invoke the usual Extras bar if the bottom end silk screen bar has ceased to work, as was the case with Owen. Unfortunately, if the _whole_ screen became untappable, the program does not help much except _looking_ to the icons, since it needs a tap on the visible screen (unlike Extrabar's programs, which can be started with the keyboard.
Again, thanks to you and all the others who contributed.
If someone sees additional uses of Martin's prog, please tell us.
