Hi Armin,
If you go to settings on your T610 when in settings click on ring tones and there are lots of them in there.  I don't know who your provider is but I have T-Mobile and they have tons of ring tones on their web site.  Also go to http://www.esato.com/ they have wallpapers and lots of stuff for our phones.  Another place that I go to is reqwireless.com.  You should find several interesting things there for your T610.  I hope that this is helpful.
Thanks,
Bob

Reply to Philip S.Adkins Potter,

Dear Phil,

PP>>I wouldn't want this digest (or anything else actually) censored and I both believe and hope it won't happen. But making a public issue of a disagreement about content or tone of posts is bound to raise such an ugly spectre - to the dismay of many including the Digest management team.

I believe I know to which recent post/poster you refer to. There are very valid points for posts to be restricted to the arena of Symbian, as that is our common ground and stated area of interest of this digest. However, we are not just a mailing list, we are a community of users and occasionally we go off on a tangent or some other. The whole point of having moderators is they decide if something has gone out of hand and they step in to do something about. One may have an issue with this but its their list, they decide what to do. One is not obliged to be on the list.

With few exceptions, the etiquette of postees on this list has been most excellent *relative* to a great many other mailing lists I am a member of, as you yourself have observed. And as you again pointed out it isn't possible for every post to be relevant to everyone, even if we stayed within 'topic'. However, since this is in a digest format, and most folks have the courtesy to give a meaningful subject to their post, it is very easy to skip over posts. I do that myself sometimes. I no longer have any interest in the 5mx and I usually skip over all posts to do with it.

You will also note, up to Digest #617, none have taken umbrage at the 'public issue of a disagreement' as you put it, in the digest. Personally I don't see the need to and I believe most folks will agree with me. We just skip over the posts we are not interested in! (Like maybe half the digestees when they see the subject of this particular post of mine!)

Warm regards,

Koi Hin

Subject: Stowaway Bluetoooth Driver

Hi all,

I am writing this using the new driver supplied to me by Thinkoutside for their Stowaway Bluetooth keyboard.

First impressions are promising as my 'List' view has been restored on the applications screen.

This keyboard has been the one essential accessory for me. Until I bought it the p800 was an expensive toy to me, a lovely phone admittedly, but useless as a palmtop.

With this keyboard though I can do serious work, and not be uncomfortable when writing large emails or other documents.

It's wonderful.

Regards,

Subject: Good case for P910

The more I use my P910, the more efficient I become at maximising its capabilities and minimising its limitations. All-in-all its a very good device for myself. I've even got to grips with using its tiny thumbpad, which makes it super for Instant Messaging.

I was somewhat disappointed with the hip case that comes in the box. I recently searched the internet looking for alternative cases, but found out there really isn't that many alternatives. However, I took the plunge and opted for what I felt was the best of a bad bunch.

Upon receipt of the goods, I eagerly tried it out. I wasn't surprised to learn that the design was appalling. Excellent quality, but hideous, bulky ergonomics and tricky to get the device in and out of.

While indulging in a spot of window shopping this afternoon, I popped into a high street branch of Jessops. While inside the shop, it dawned on me that a miniature camera case may be what I need for my P910. It only took a second to spot the case with the perfect, practical, pocketable form factor. I whipped out my phone, stuck it in the case and zipped it up. A fraction tight, but a good, snug fit in a small, highly protective case.

I'm sure that it will not appeal to everyone, but if you enjoy outdoor pursuits, like to be able to throw your phone into a bag, jacket pocket or car and not have to worry about it, then it may be an item you will want to consider.

Kind regards

Grant

On the T610 send the ringtone with send via infrared.
On the Psion receive it with plBeam or the Cpen-software.
The received files can be sent as attachment via mail.
I don't know anything of the P910, maybe the P910 can't use any T610 ringtone at all, but it is worth to try to beam the files with e.g. plBeam (the "l" in the name is a small "L" and not a big "i").
By the way, I just tried successfully to beam the complete phonebook in one file from the T610 to the psion. (There is an option in the phonebook menu to do that.)
You could try to send this to the P910 as well.
(Or maybe somene else borrows you his SIM-card to beam ringtones and phonebook from T610 to P910 direct).

Psee you

Armin, you can register at www.sony-ericsson.com/fun and once registered you can enter the site from your phone and download any ringtone you like from there. You don't have to look for ringtones for the T610 only, try other phones as well. I just downloaded the "Oldphone" ringtone from the T610 onto my P910 and it works without problems.    I tried last night to send ringtones straight from the T610, but could not find how to do that. If it is possible, could someone elaborate on that ?
