If you're forced to consider sending it over the Atlantic, think about Paul Wright's PsionFlexi at http://www.psionflexi.co.uk/ Reasonable prices, reasonable turn-round time.
But discuss the problem with Paul by email first. He can be a bit slow to respond at present, having a busy domestic life.

The news is not good, though. I tried all kinds of reset - soft, hard and in
between - to no avail. I even tried blackmail..
It looks like he problem is more serious. I think I will have to send the 5mx
