The last days, there is a lot off promotion for the new Windows Vista.
The Beta-version is already some months 'on the market'
Does anyone knows if our 'good old' PsiWin 2.3.3 is also compatible for
Windows Vista?
When it is not compatible, I hope that one of our Psion-programmers can help
us.

You should avoid leaving cards in the CF card slot when the Netbook is
switched off as they can consume power, not a problem with a memory card
which only uses power when you read/write but a GPS or WiFi card can
drain the battery quite quickly.

I left my GPS card in my Netbook overnight & came back to a flat
battery!

Re.: Low battery, why ? - Your answer is quite obvious of course. It could be that on occasions the switch does not catch and the netBook stays on. I will try to switch it off by hand for some time and se eif that solves the problem.
Thanks Chris, but I am getting just a little older and did not remember we discussed this before .... sorry. In the meantime I switched several machines as my old one was a mBook and repaired before being switched to a 2nd hand full fletched netBook. I unticked it now.

- Lower case macro

Hi All,

Just by chance I read the digest.

My ExAb program has an Upper/Lower (whole selection) and a first letter only Upper hotkey on board.

The last few years ExAb is in "hibernation mode", but the website for downloading ExAb and my other programs/macros is still active:
http://website.leidenuniv.nl/~linthorsthjm/exabetal/

I forgot to make ExAb freeware when my last 5mx died a couple of years ago. Well in fact I couldn't make it freeware because I needed the registration key creator opo in my registration database that only ran on the 5mx. But now that I got a new screen, I can try to do so after all. Just let me know if you're interested.

Regards,

Huub Linthorst

Subject: Nokia E60 as a modem

Hi!

A couple of months back I made a posting asking for advice on how to set up a Nokia E60 as an infrared modem for my Mbook.
I got no response, so I try again.
I have been using (my now both deaf and mute) Ericsson T39 as a modem for years. After having tried for months to get the Nokia work, I cant get rid of the feeling having bought the wrong phone.
