Thanks for this enthusiastic 910 review. I was looking at it too, and at a HTC (the one with sliding keyboard).
best,

Subject: Backup on Psion
Hello all
I've been using Backup without problems for a long while now but it seems now "Contacts" (on PSION 5mx) blocks the backing up when it's open and so prevents me from automatizing the process.
Any idea ?
Thanks for yr help.

Hi Rolf,
> is there still anybody, using the netBook with the CISCO card for connecting to the Internet?
I have both (Pulster sent me the CISCO card with my netbook, but I don't use the CISCO card because it can't use WEP encryption together with the netbook. It is capable of WEP, but only in my PC, not in my netbook.
So, in my netbook I use the "orinoco Classic Gold PC Card".
It blocks the pen-slot, but that is the only "negative" thing for me.
Best wishes,
Armin

Salut Stéphane,
do use you BackUp by Ralph Sprenger<address truncated>
I tried it at my S7 and I could state, that Backup at start closes all open programs, among them opened Contacts, too.
If that doesn't work at your S5mx, may be you should write a small macro, closing at first Contacts and then running Backup.
Let me know, what you use, and I will adapt an appropriate macro, written by Mario Collado (author of the great Assistant) for automatical, time controlled, backup with Crontab, for your S5mx.

Rolf

Re.: Settings for WiFi (netBook+CISCO AIRONET 340) - Yes, I am still using this combination on my netBook. There are hardly any settings for this card :
Name : Cisco Rlan
Host : Default
Device: Cisco Aironet 3500/4800/340
Advanced :
IEEE unticked
ARP cache timeout 1800
and that is it. Success.
Best regards,
Itamar

Re.: Treo Upgrade - I thought already that it is very hard to actually work on a WORD document on these machines. I also have spreadsheets that I keep data in and copy to the Qtek to use while traveling although I don't have the need to synchronise these with the PC copies.
As to your question, the answer is yes. In the settings I can set the screen to portrait, right handed lnadscape or left handed landscape (Qtek 9100).

Re.: S910i - I also used the handwriting recognition and it does work very well on the SE910i, much better than on my Qtek 9100. With a bluetooth GPS unit I think TomTom Navigator 5 works extremely well, I have it installed on my Qtek and use it both in the UK and in Europe. Just make sure your phone is in a cradle. Do you know whether we can install te updated maps from TomTom in Navigator 5 or not ? The website is not that clear about it.
Best regards,
Itamar
