Given the iPhone uses MacOs as its operating system, hopefully it
will in time become the ultaportable Mac we've all been waiting for,
even if ...

Subject: Questions

Hi,

First question:

Is there a way to reflow the text in in PsionWord doc or in a text file? I frequently get large texts in this format:

"Government statistics released Thursday showed that applications for
unemployment benefits declined last week, further evidence that the
labor market remains strong. The Labor Department said claims declined
   by 1,000, to 309,000."

I would, however, prefer to get rid of the excess carriage returns and have the text flow freely like this:

"Government statistics released Thursday showed that applications for unemployment benefits declined last week, further evidence that the labor market remains strong. The Labor Department said claims declined by 1,000, to 309,000."

WordSmith for Palm has a "reflow" command that does this automatically - any idea how I could do it on a Psion, without having to manually delete all the carriage returns (except the ones signifying the end of a paragraph)? This problem has really got me stumped.

Second question:

A friend of mine has a Nokia 9300 and is very unhappy with the default calendar. Is there a generally agreed-upon "best" 3rd party calendar for the Nokia 9300?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Peter

Hi all,

news emerged last week of some competition for the Foleo:

http://blog.wired.com/gadgets/2007/06/nanobook.html
I like the idea of the Foleo, and it's automatic synchronisation with my Treo,
I think the price could be the biggest hurdle though.

£199 would be about right, I expect it will be rather more ~ time will tell.

It does now seem that finally potential Psion replacements are on the horizon.

Mike Dyer.
