Subject: Do I need PSIWIN ?
I usually use my card reader and CF to copy files from the Psion to my PC. I have the emulator installed on the PC. Is there any reason to keep PsiWin installed? Or do I need it if I want to convert and move a PC Word file and to the Psion?
Thanks, Woody

Subject: Problem with 5mx?
I am hopeful that someone can help me or may have experienced a similar problem and will be able to offer me some advice.
I used my 5mx this morning and it was fine, it has reasonably new batteries and I had no problem inputting information, switching off and on etc. I went back to look something up a couple of hours later and there were now a series of horizontal lines running across the screen when I switched on. I have replaced the batteries but it is still the same.
The very bad news for me is that due to my laptop crashing a couple of months ago I have not been able to back up the 5mx since then. I have been waiting for the hard drive to be replaced and it's return was iminent and now this has happened. It would be a nightmare to lose all the information on my Psion as I don't know how much can be restored from my old laptop/back-ups. If anyone has an idea of what the problem could be and if I can do anything or I need to send it away for repair without losing my information, I would be very grateful.
Many thanks,
Anne Parry, London

Subject: Symbian Series 60 data
Is there anyway to reduce the amount of data that Series 60
phones and Nokia PC Sync save as part of a users Windows profile?
On my corporate PC I am restricted to the profile size available
and files related to the phone's contacts database seem to be
one of the biggest problems. Is there any way to relocate the
data or compress it on the phone?
