BBC: yes, it only allows downloads for 7 days, but I was talking about listening *live* over the net, for example while abroad. Many [most/all?] mobile network operators here in the UK now offer this thing called "roaming broadband". You get a small USB modem with a sim card inside it and a *special* tariff plan. The modem plugs into any [Windows based?] USB system and uses HSPDA to access the net. As far as I know, the new ultra portable Windows systems, like those from HTC, support this. However, all those special tariff plans have download caps so it may not be a practical proposition. That's why I was trying to find out the amount of data 1 hour's worth of streamed radio generates.
