} John, your problem might be the same if you copied all the
} files over from one machine to the other or from an external
} disk to the internal one.
I recall that Palmtop cause the app to self modify it's file to include
the machine's ID, when run for the first time.
So copy between machines wont work.
Solution: after installation save a copy of app file before running it.

That's what I have always done. Also if Windows has written to any CF
card (as an exceptional case solution), I will format it again as soon
as possible.

That's interesting John.
I've never tested it on my Psion 5. But probably by the time I bought
my first (of 3) 5mx the maximum size of a CF card was much higher, so
Psion ensured that larger cards would format by changing to FAT 16.
The slowing down could be that the test write has to write complete
sectors, so took longer.
I've not used PSI Mapper for sometime now, but a copy of the Repeater
list for an overlay would be welcome. Been travelling so only just read
your older posting. No longer using a 6210 + 5mx for my e-mails on
Orange Everyday 50!
